Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 1017
Our master Ali, may Allah be pleased with him, narrates, “I never heard the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, joining his parents in an oath for anyone except for Sa'd, may Allah be pleased with him. On the day of the Battle of Uhud, the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, was saying to Sa'd ibn Abi Waqqas, may Allah be pleased with him, 'O Sa'd! Shoot (your arrows), may my mother and father be sacrificed for you.'"

سیدنا علی رضی اللہ عنہ فرماتے ہیں کہ میں نے نبی ﷺ کو کبھی کسی کے لئے - سوائے سیدنا سعد رضی اللہ عنہ کے - اپنے والدین کو جمع کرتے ہوئے نہیں سنا۔ غزوہ احد کے دن آپ ﷺ سیدنا سعد بن ابی وقاص رضی اللہ عنہ سے فرما رہے تھے: ”سعد! تیر پھینکو، تم پر میرے ماں باپ قربان ہوں۔“
Saina Ali (رضي الله تعالى عنه) farmate hain keh maine Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko kabhi kisi ke liye - siwae Saina Saad (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ke - apne waldain ko jama karte hue nahi suna. Ghazwa Uhud ke din Aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) Saina Saad bin Abi Waqas (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se farma rahe the: "Saad! Teer phenko, tum par mere maan baap qurban hon."
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ شَدَّادٍ ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: مَا سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُفَدِّي أَحَدًا بِأَبَوَيْهِ إِلَّا سَعْدَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ، فَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ لَهُ يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ:" ارْمِ سَعْدُ، فِدَاكَ أَبِي وَأُمِّي".
