Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 10216
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "When a person commits adultery, he is no longer a believer at the time. When a person steals, he is no longer a believer at the time. When a person drinks alcohol, he is no longer a believer at the time." And the door of repentance is open.

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا جس وقت کوئی شخص بدکاری کرتا ہے وہ مومن نہیں رہتا جس وقت کوئی شخص چوری کرتا ہے وہ مومن نہیں رہتا جس وقت کوئی شراب پیتا ہے وہ مومن نہیں رہتا اور توبہ کا دروازہ کھلا ہے۔
Hazrat Abu Huraira razi Allah anhu se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya jis waqt koi shakhs badkari karta hai woh momin nahi rehta jis waqt koi shakhs chori karta hai woh momin nahi rehta jis waqt koi sharaab peeta hai woh momin nahi rehta aur toba ka darwaza khula hai.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، قََالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ ، عَنْ ذَكْوَانَ ، عَنِ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: " لَا يَزْنِي حِينَ يَزْنِي وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ، وَلَا يَسْرِقُ حِينَ يَسْرِقُ وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ، وَلَا يَشْرَبُ الْخَمْرَ حِينَ يَشْرَبُهَا وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ، وَالتَّوْبَةُ مَعْرُوضَةٌ بَعْدُ" .
