Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 10246
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Look at those who are below you (in worldly matters) and do not look at those who are above you, for this is more likely to prevent you from belittling the blessings of Allah upon you."

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا (دنیا کے معاملے میں) اپنے سے نیچے والے کو دیکھا کرو اپنے سے اوپر والے کو مت دیکھا کرو اس طرح تم اللہ کی نعمتوں کو حقیر سمجھنے سے بچ جاؤگے
Hazrat Abu Hurairah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya (duniya ke mamle mein) apne se neeche wale ko dekha karo apne se upar wale ko mat dekha karo is tarah tum Allah ki naimaton ko haqeer samajhne se bach jaoge.
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، قََالَ: حَدَّثَنِي الْأَعْمَشُ ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ , عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , قََالَ: قََالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " انْظُرُوا إِلَى مَنْ أَسْفَلَ مِنْكُمْ، وَلَا تَنْظُرُوا إِلَى مَنْ فَوْقَكُمْ، فَإِنَّهُ أَجْدَرُ أَنْ لَا تَزْدَرُوا نِعْمَةَ اللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ" .
