Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 1041
It is narrated by Sayyiduna Ali, may Allah be pleased with him, that regarding the Quranic verse: “You are only a warner, and for every people is a guide.” (13:7) The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “The warner and the guide is a man from the Banu Hashim."

سیدنا علی رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ قرآن کریم میں یہ جو فرمایا گیا ہے: «﴿إِنَّمَا أَنْتَ مُنْذِرٌ وَلِكُلِّ قَوْمٍ هَادٍ﴾ [الرعد: 7] » ”آپ تو صرف ڈرانے والے ہیں، اور ہر قوم میں ایک ہادی آیا ہے۔“ نبی ﷺ نے اس آیت کے متعلق فرمایا: ”ڈرانے والا اور رہنمائی کرنے والا بنو ہاشم کا ایک آدمی ہے۔“
Sayyidna Ali (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Quran Kareem mein ye jo farmaya gaya hai: «﴿Innama anta mundhirun wa li kulli qaumin hadin﴾ [al-Ra'd: 7] » ”Aap to sirf darane wale hain, aur har qaum mein ek hadi aaya hai.“ Nabi Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam ne is ayat ke mutalliq farmaya: ”Darane wala aur rahnumai karne wala Banu Hashim ka ek aadmi hai.“.
(حديث موقوف) حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنِي عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُطَّلِبُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ ، عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ خَيْرٍ ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ فِي قَوْلِهِ: إِنَّمَا أَنْتَ مُنْذِرٌ وَلِكُلِّ قَوْمٍ هَادٍ سورة الرعد آية 7، قَالَ:" رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْمُنْذِرُ، وَالْهَادِ رَجُلٌ مِنْ بَنِي هَاشِمٍ".
