Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 10415
Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever sits in a gathering where there is much idle talk and before getting up from that gathering says: 'Glory be to You, O Allah, and praise be to You. There is no deity worthy of worship but You. I seek Your forgiveness and repent to You,' he will be forgiven for the sins committed in that gathering."

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا جو شخص کسی مجلس میں شریک ہو اور وہاں بیہودگی زیادہ ہوجائے تو اس مجلس سے اٹھتے وقت یوں کہہ لے سبحانک ربنا وبحمدک لاالہ الا انت استغفرک ثم اتوب الیک تو اس مجلس میں ہونے والے گناہ معاف ہوجائیں گے۔
Hazrat Abu Huraira (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya jo shakhs kisi majlis mein sharik ho aur wahan behudagi zyada hojaye to uss majlis se uthte waqt yun keh le Subhanak Rabbana Wa Bihamdika La Ilaha Illa Anta Astagfiruka Summa Atubu Ilaik to uss majlis mein hone wale gunah maaf hojaenge.
حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ ، قََالَ: قََالَ ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ , أَخْبَرَنِي مُوسَى بْنُ عُقْبَةَ ، عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " مَنْ جَلَسَ فِي مَجْلِسٍ كَثُرَ فِيهِ لَغَطُهُ، فَقَالَ: قَبْلَ أَنْ يَقُومَ سُبْحَانَكَ رَبَّنَا وَبِحَمْدِكَ، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، أَسْتَغْفِرُكَ ثُمَّ أَتُوبُ إِلَيْكَ، إِلَّا غَفَرَ اللَّهُ لَهُ مَا كَانَ فِي مَجْلِسِهِ ذَلِكَ" .
