Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 10571
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Do not withhold excess water, nor prevent (others from using) excess grass."

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مرفوعاً مروی ہے کہ زائد پانی روک کر نہ رکھاجائے اور نہ ہی زائد گھاس سے روکا جائے۔
Hazrat Abu Huraira (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marfooan marvi hai ke zaid pani rok kar na rakha jaye aur na hi zaid ghaas se roka jaye.
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ , أَخْبَرَنَا الْمَسْعُودِيُّ , عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ , قََالَ: شَكَوْتُ إِلَى عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَوْمًا مَنَعُونِي مَاءً , فَقَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ ، قََالَ: الْمَسْعُودِيُّ: وَلَا أَعْلَمُهُ إِلَّا قَدْ رَفَعَهُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , قَالَ: " لَا يُمْنَعُ فَضْلُ مَاءٍ بَعْدَ أَنْ يُسْتَغْنَى عَنْهُ , وَلَا فَضْلُ مَرْعَى" .
