Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 10625
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: “The riding one should greet the one who is walking, the one who is walking should greet the one who is sitting, and the smaller number should greet the larger number.”

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا چاہئے کہ سوار پیدل کو چلنے والا بیٹھے ہوئے کو اور تھوڑے لوگ زیادہ کو سلام کریں۔
Hazrat Abu Hurairah razi Allah anhu se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya chahie ki sawar paidal ko chalne wala baithe hue ko aur thore log zyada ko salam karen.
حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ , حَدَّثَنَا حُبَيْبٌ , عَنِ الْحَسَنِ , عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , قََالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " يُسَلِّمُ الرَّاكِبُ عَلَى الْمَاشِي، وَالْمَاشِي عَلَى الْقَاعِدِ" , وَقَالَ بِبَغْدَادَ:" وَالْقَلِيلُ عَلَى الْكَثِيرِ، وَالصَّغِيرُ عَلَى الْكَبِيرِ" , وَقَالَ رَوْحٌ بِبَغْدَادَ: وَالْقَلِيلُ عَلَى الْكَثِيرِ.
