Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 10692
On the authority of Abu Huraira, may Allah be pleased with him, it is narrated that the Holy Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said, "Every deed of the son of Adam is for him except fasting. It is for Me, and I will give its reward." By the One in whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, the smell of the mouth of a fasting person is better than the fragrance of musk to Allah. Fasting is a shield, and the fasting person will get two occasions of joy and happiness. When he breaks his fast, he is happy, and when he meets Allah, he will be happy.

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا ابن آدم کا ہر عمل اس کے لئے ہے سوائے روزے کے کہ وہ میرے لئے ہے اور میں خود ہی اس کا بدلہ دوں گا اس ذات کی قسم جس کے دست قدرت میں محمد ﷺ کی جان ہے روزہ دار کی منہ کی بھبک اللہ کے نزدیک مشک کی خوشبو سے زیادہ عمدہ ہے روزہ ڈھال ہے اور روزہ دار کو دو موقعوں پر فرحت اور خوشی حاصل ہوتی ہے چنانچہ جب وہ روزہ افطار کرتا ہے تو خوش ہوتا ہے اور جب اللہ سے ملاقات کرے گا تب بھی وہ خوش ہوگا۔
Hazrat Abu Hurairah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai keh Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya Ibn e Adam ka har amal uske liye hai siwae rozey ke keh woh mere liye hai aur mein khud hi iska badla dun ga is zaat ki qasam jis ke dast e qudrat mein Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki jaan hai rozdaar ki munh ki bhabak Allah ke qareeb mushk ki khushbu se zyada umdah hai roza dhaal hai aur rozdaar ko do mauqon per farhat aur khushi hasil hoti hai chunache jab woh roza aftarta hai to khush hota hai aur jab Allah se mulaqat kare ga tab bhi woh khush hoga.
حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ , حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ , أَخْبَرَنِي عَطَاءٌ , عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ الزَّيَّاتِ , أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ , يَقُولُ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " كُلُّ عَمَلِ ابْنِ آدَمَ لَهُ , إِلَّا الصِّيَامَ فَهُوَ لِي , وَأَنَا أَجْزِي بِهِ" ." وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ , لَخُلُوفُ فَمِ الصَّائِمِ، أَطْيَبُ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مِنْ رِيحِ الْمِسْكِ، وَالصِّيَامُ جُنَّةٌ، وَلِلصَّائِمِ فَرْحَتَانِ يَفْرَحُهُمَا إِذَا أَفْطَرَ فَرِحَ، وَإِذَا لَقِيَ رَبَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ، فَرِحَ بِصَوْمِهِ" .
