Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 10781
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: People should stop boasting about their forefathers, otherwise in the sight of Allah they will be more insignificant than a goat whose body has started to stink. Allah, the Exalted, has removed from you the prejudice of ignorance and boasting about your forefathers. Now a person will either be a righteous Muslim or a wretched sinner. All people are the children of Adam (peace be upon him), and Adam (peace be upon him) was created from dust.

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا لوگ اپنے آباؤ اجداد پر فخر کرنے سے باز آجائیں ورنہ اللہ کی نگاہوں میں وہ اس بکری سے بھی زیادہ حقیر ہوں گے جس کے جسم سے بدبو آنا شروع ہوگئی ہو اللہ تبارک وتعالیٰ نے تم سے جاہلیت کا تعصب اور اپنے آباؤ اجداد پر فخر کرنا دور کردیا ہے اب یا تو کوئی شخص متقی مسلمان ہوگا یا بدبخت گناہگار ہوگا سب لوگ آدم (علیہ السلام) کی اولاد ہیں اور آدم (علیہ السلام) کی پیدائش مٹی سے ہوئی تھی۔
Hazrat Abu Hurairah RA se marvi hai keh Nabi Kareem SAW ne farmaya log apne abao ajdad per fakhr karne se baz ajayen warna Allah ki nigahon mein woh is bakri se bhi ziada haqeer honge jis ke jism se badbu aana shuru hogayi ho Allah tabarak wa ta'ala ne tum se jahiliyat ka tasub aur apne abao ajdad per fakhr karna door kardiya hai ab ya to koi shakhs muttaqi musalman hoga ya badbakht gunahgar hoga sab log Adam AS ki aulad hain aur Adam AS ki paidaish mitti se hui thi.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو , حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ , عَنِ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ , عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " لَيَدَعَنَّ رِجَالٌ فَخْرَهُمْ بِأَقْوَامٍ إِنَّمَا هُمْ فَحْمٌ مِنْ فَحْمِ جَهَنَّمَ , أَوْ لَيَكُونُنَّ أَهْوَنَ عَلَى اللَّهِ مِنَ الْجُعْلَانِ الَّتِي تَدْفَعُ بِأَنْفِهَا النَّتَنَ" , وَقَالَ:" إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ قَدْ أَذْهَبَ عَنْكُمْ عُبِّيَّةَ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ وَفَخْرَهَا بِالْآبَاءِ , مُؤْمِنٌ تَقِيٌّ , وَفَاجِرٌ شَقِيٌّ , النَّاسُ بَنُو آدَمَ , وَآدَمُ مِنْ تُرَابٍ" .
