Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 10797
It was narrated by Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "When you meet the polytheists on the road, do not initiate the Salam (greeting of peace), and force them to take the narrow path."

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا جب تم مشرکین سے راستے میں ملو تو سلام کرنے میں پہل نہ کرو اور انہیں تنگ راستے کی طرف مجبور کردو۔
Hazrat Abu Huraira (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ke Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya jab tum mushrikeen se raste mein milo to salam karne mein pehal na karo aur unhein tang raste ki taraf majboor kar do.
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ , حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ , عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ , عَنْ أَبِيهِ , عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " فَإِذَا لَقِيتُمْ الْمُشْرِكِينَ بِالطَّرِيقِ , فَلَا تَبْدَءُوهُمْ بِالسَّلَامِ , وَاضْطَرُّوهُمْ إِلَى أَضْيَقِهَا" .
