Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 10800
It has been narrated on the authority of Abu Huraira, may Allah be pleased with him, that he heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, saying that Allah Almighty bestows His favor (rain) upon some people during the night, and in the morning most of the people show ungratefulness, saying that we have received this rain because of the influence of such and such a star.

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ اللہ تعالیٰ کچھ لوگوں پر رات کے وقت اپنی نعمت (بارش) برساتا ہے اور صبح کے وقت اکثر لوگ اس کی ناشکری کرتے ہوئے کہتے ہیں کہ ہم پر فلاں ستارے کی تاثیر سے بارش ہوئی ہے۔
Hazrat Abu Hurairah razi Allah anhu se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko ye farmate hue suna hai ki Allah Ta'ala kuch logon par raat ke waqt apni naimat (baareesh) barsata hai aur subah ke waqt aksar log uski nashukri karte hue kahte hain ki hum par falan sitare ki taaseer se baarish hui hai.
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ , حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَةُ يَعْنِي بْنَ سُلَيْمَانَ , عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ , عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ , عَنْ سَلْمَانَ ، قََالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ , يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لَيُبَيِّتُ الْقَوْمَ بِالنِّعْمَةِ , ثُمَّ يُصْبِحُونَ وَأَكْثَرُهُمْ كَافِرُونَ , يَقُولُونَ: مُطِرْنَا بِنَجْمِ كَذَا وَكَذَا" , قَالَ: فَحَدَّثْتُ بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ سَعِيدَ بْنَ الْمُسَيَّبِ ، فَقَالَ: وَنَحْنُ قَدْ سَمِعْنَا ذَلِكَ مِنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ .
