Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 10809
It was narrated from Abu Huraira that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: "Four matters of Jaahiliyyah will remain among the people and they will never abandon them: boasting about lineage, weeping over the dead, attributing rain to the stars, and believing in the transference of disease. A camel got the mange and infected one hundred camels. Who gave it to the first one?"

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا زمانہ جاہلیت کی چار چیزیں ایسی ہیں جہنیں لوگ کبھی ترک نہیں کریں گے حسب نسب میں عار دلانا میت پر نوحہ کرنا بارش کو ستاروں سے منسوب کرنا اور بیماری کو متعدی سمجھنا ایک اونٹ خارش زدہ ہوا اور اس نے سو اونٹوں کو خارش میں مبتلا کردیا تو پہلے اونٹ کو خارش زدہ کس نے کیا؟
Hazrat Abu Hurairah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai keh Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya zamanah jahiliyat ki chaar cheezain aisi hain jinhen log kabhi tark nahin karen ge hasb nasab mein aar dilana mayyat per nouha karna barish ko sitaron se mansoob karna aur beemari ko muttadi samajhna ek oont kharish zada hua aur usne sau oonton ko kharish mein mubtala kar diya to pehle oont ko kharish zada kisne kiya?
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ , حَدَّثَنَا الْمَسْعُودِيُّ , عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ بْنِ مَرْثَدٍ , عَنْ أَبِي الرَّبِيعِ , عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , قََالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " أَرْبَعٌ مِنْ أَمْرِ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ لَنْ يَدَعَهُنَّ النَّاسُ: النِّيَاحَةُ عَلَى المْيَتِ، وَالطَّعْنُ فِي الْأَنْسَابِ , وَالْأَنْوَاءُ , يَقُولُ الرَّجُلُ: سُقِينَا بِنَوْءِ كَذَا وَكَذَا , وَالْإِعْدَاءُ أُجْرِبَ بَعِيرٌ فَأَجْرَبَ مِائَةً , فَمَنْ أَعْدَى الْأَوَّلَ" .
