Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 10971
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade the use of Nabidh (a drink made from dates) in gourds, pumpkins, hollow wooden vessels and common utensils.

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے مٹکے کدو کی تو نبی کھوکھلی لکڑی کے برتن اور عام برتنوں میں بھی نبیذ کے استعمال سے منع فرمایا ہے۔
Hazrat Abu Hurairah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne mitke kaddu ki to Nabi khokhli lakdi ke bartan aur aam bartanon mein bhi nabiz ke istemal se mana farmaya hai.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُصْعَبٍ , حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ , عَنْ يَحْيَى , عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ , عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , قََالَ:" نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ نَبِيذِ الْجَرِّ , وَالدُّبَّاءِ وَالْمُزَفَّتِ , وَعَنِ الظُّرُوفِ كُلِّهَا" .
