Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 11018
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Saeed (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) mentioned a people who would be from among his Ummah and would emerge as a sect among the people. Their slogan would be to shave their heads. These people would be the worst of creations. One of the two groups (that are closer to the truth) would kill them. Then, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), explaining their example, said, "It is as if a man shot an arrow and then looked at its target, but saw nothing there. Then he looked at the arrowhead, but saw nothing there. Then he looked at the shaft, but saw nothing there." Abu Saeed (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "O people of Iraq! You are the ones who have killed them."

حضرت ابوسعید رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ایک قوم کا تذکرہ کیا جو آپ کی امت میں ہوگی اور لوگوں میں ایک فرقہ کے طور پر اس کا خروج ہوگا، ان لوگوں کا شعار ٹنڈ کروانا ہوگا، یہ لوگ بدترین مخلوق ہوں گے، انہیں دو میں سے ایک گروہ " جو حق کے زیادہ قریب ہوگا " قتل کرے گا، پھر نبی ﷺ نے ان کی مثال بیان کرتے ہوئے فرمایا کہ جیسے ایک آدمی تیر پھینکے، پھر اس کے پھل کو دیکھے تو وہاں کچھ نظر نہ آئے، پھر دھار کو دیکھے تو وہاں بھی کچھ نظر نہ آئے، پھر دستے کو دیکھے تو وہاں بھی کچھ نظر نہ آئے، حضرت ابوسعید رضی اللہ عنہ فرماتے ہیں کہ اے اہل عراق! ان لوگوں کو تم نے ہی قتل کیا ہے۔
Hazrat Abu Saeed (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne ek qaum ka tazkira kiya jo aap ki ummat mein hogi aur logon mein ek firqay ke tor par is ka khurooj hoga, in logon ka shiyar tund karwana hoga, ye log badtareen makhlooq honge, inhen do mein se ek giroh " jo haq ke zyada qareeb hoga " qatl karega, phir Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne in ki misaal bayan karte huye farmaya ki jaise ek aadmi teer phenke, phir is ke phal ko dekhe to wahan kuch nazar na aaye, phir dhaar ko dekhe to wahan bhi kuch nazar na aaye, phir daste ko dekhe to wahan bhi kuch nazar na aaye, Hazrat Abu Saeed (رضي الله تعالى عنه) farmate hain ki aye ahl Iraq! in logon ko tumne hi qatl kiya hai.
حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ ، عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ذَكَرَ قَوْمًا يَكُونُونَ فِي أُمَّتِهِ، يَخْرُجُونَ فِي فِرْقَةٍ مِنَ النَّاسِ، سِيمَاهُمْ التَّحْلِيقُ، هُمْ شَرُّ الْخَلْقِ، أَوْ مِنْ شَرِّ الْخَلْقِ، يَقْتُلُهُمْ أَدْنَى الطَّائِفَتَيْنِ مِنَ الْحَقِّ، قَالَ: فَضَرَبَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَهُمْ مَثَلًا، أَوْ قَالَ قَوْلًا:" الرَّجُلُ يَرْمِي الرَّمِيَّةَ، أَوْ قَالَ: الْغَرَضَ، فَيَنْظُرُ فِي النَّصْلِ فَلَا يَرَى بَصِيرَةً، وَيَنْظُرُ فِي النَّضِيِّ فَلَا يَرَى بَصِيرَةً، وَيَنْظُرُ فِي الْفُوقِ فَلَا يَرَى بَصِيرَةً" قَالَ: قَالَ أَبُو سَعِيدٍ: وَأَنْتُمْ قَتَلْتُمُوهُمْ يَا أَهْلَ الْعِرَاقِ.
