Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 11020
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Saeed (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: When you hear the call to prayer (adhan), repeat the same words that the mu'adhdhin (caller) is saying.

حضرت ابوسعید رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا جب تم اذان سنو تو وہی جملے کہا کرو جو مؤذن کہتا ہے۔
Hazrat Abu Saeed Razi Allah Anhu se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya jab tum azan suno to wohi jumle kaha karo jo muazzin kehta hai.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" إِذَا سَمِعْتُمْ النِّدَاءَ فَقُولُوا كَمَا يَقُولُ الْمُؤَذِّنُ".
