Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 11021
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Saeed (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade the sale of "Muzabanah" and "Muhaqalah." Muzabanah refers to selling fruit on trees in exchange for a measured amount of dates, while Muhaqalah means renting out land for agriculture.

حضرت ابوسعید رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے بیع مزابنہ اور محاقلہ سے منع فرمایا ہے، بیع مزابنہ سے مراد یہ ہے کہ درختوں پر لگے ہوئے پھل کوئی کٹی ہوئی کھجور کے بدلے ناپ کر معاملہ کرنا اور محاقلہ کا مطلب زمین کو کرائے پر دینا ہے۔
Hazrat Abusaeed razi Allah anhu se marvi hai keh Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne bai mazaabanah aur muhaqala se mana farmaya hai, bai mazaabanah se murad yeh hai keh darakhton per lage hue phal koi kati hui khajoor ke badle naap kar muamla karna aur muhaqala ka matlab zameen ko kiraye per dena hai.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ هُوَ ابْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ الْحُصَيْنِ ، عَنْ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، أنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ" نَهَى عَنِ الْمُزَابَنَةِ وَالْمُحَاقَلَةِ"، وَالْمُزَابَنَةُ: اشْتِرَاءُ الثَّمَرَةِ فِي رُءُوسِ النَّخْلِ بِالتَّمْرِ كَيْلًا، وَالْمُحَاقَلَةُ كَرْاءُ الْأَرْضِ.
