Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 11033
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Saeed (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade praying voluntary prayers after the Asr prayer until sunset and after the Fajr prayer until sunrise.

حضرت ابوسعید رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے نماز عصر کے بعد سے غروب آفتاب تک اور نماز فجر کے بعد سے طلوع آفتاب تک نوافل پڑھنے سے منع فرمایا ہے۔
Hazrat Abu Saeed (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Namaz Asar ke bad se ghuroob aftab tak aur Namaz Fajr ke bad se talu aftab tak nawafil parhne se mana farmaya hai.
حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ ضَمْرَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ ، قَالَ أَبِي: قُلْتُ سُفْيَانُ سَمِعَهُ؟ قَالَ: زَعَمَ،" نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ صَلَاةٍ بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ حَتَّى تَغْرُبَ، وَبَعْدَ الصُّبْحِ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ".
