Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 11050
Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Muslims in the world are divided into three categories: (1) Those who believe in Allah and His Messenger, then they have no doubt in it and they continue to strive in the way of Allah with their wealth and lives. (2) Those people from whom the lives and properties of people are safe. (3) Those people who develop a desire for something and then they abandon it for the sake of Allah's pleasure.

حضرت ابوسعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا مسلمان دنیا میں تین حصوں پر منقسم ہیں۔ (١) وہ لوگ جو اللہ اور اس کے رسول پر ایمان لے آئے، پھر اس میں انہیں شک نہ ہوا اور وہ اپنی جان و مال سے اللہ کے راستے میں جہاد کرتے رہے۔ (٢) وہ لوگ جن کی طرف سے لوگوں کی جان مال محفوظ ہوں۔ (٣) وہ لوگ جنہیں کسی چیز کی طمع پیدا ہو اور پھر وہ اسے اللہ کی رضاء کے لئے چھوڑ دیں۔
Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri Razi Allah Anhu marvi hai keh Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya musalman duniya mein teen hisson per munqasim hain. (1) Woh log jo Allah aur uske Rasul per imaan le aaye phir us mein unhen shak na hua aur woh apni jaan o maal se Allah ke raste mein jihad karte rahe. (2) Woh log jin ki taraf se logon ki jaan maal mahfooz hon. (3) Woh log jinhen kisi cheez ki tamanna paida ho aur phir woh use Allah ki raza ke liye chhor dein.
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ غَيْلَانَ ، حَدَّثَنَا رِشْدِينُ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ ، عَنْ أَبِي السَّمْحِ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْهَيْثَمِ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:" الْمُؤْمِنُونَ فِي الدُّنْيَا عَلَى ثَلَاثَةِ أَجْزَاءٍ: الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا بِاللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ، ثُمَّ لَمْ يَرْتَابُوا، وَجَاهَدُوا بِأَمْوَالِهِمْ وَأَنْفُسِهِمْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ، وَالَّذِي يَأْمَنُهُ النَّاسُ عَلَى أَمْوَالِهِمْ وَأَنْفُسِهِمْ، ثُمَّ الَّذِي إِذَا أَشْرَفَ عَلَى طَمَعٍ تَرَكَهُ لِلَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ".
