Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 11052
Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade the sale of "Muzabanah" and "Muhaqalah". Muzabanah refers to the transaction of bartering unripe dates on trees for a measured quantity of harvested dates, while Muhaqalah signifies the leasing of land.

حضرت ابوسعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے بیع مزابنہ اور محاقلہ سے منع فرمایا ہے، بیع مزابنہ سے مراد یہ ہے کہ درختوں پر لگے ہوئے پھل کو کٹی ہوئی کھجور کے بدلے ناپ کر معاملہ کرنا اور محاقلہ کا مطلب زمین کو کرائے پر دینا ہے۔
Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri RA se marvi hai ki Nabi SAW ne bai muzabana aur muhaqala se mana farmaya hai, bai muzabana se murad ye hai ki darakhton par lage hue phal ko kati hui khajoor ke badle naap kar mamla karna aur muhaqala ka matlab zameen ko kiraye par dena hai.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ يَعْنِي الشَّافِعَيَّ ، قَالَ: أَنْبَأَنَا مَالِكٌ ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ الْحُصَيْنِ ، عَنْ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ مَوْلَى أَبِي أَحْمَدَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ" نَهَى عَنِ الْمُزَابَنَةِ وَالْمُحَاقَلَةِ"، وَالْمُزَابَنَةُ اشْتِرَاءُ التَّمْرِ بِالتَّمْرِ فِي رُءُوسِ النَّخْلِ، وَالْمُحَاقَلَةُ اسْتِكْرَاءُ الْأَرْضِ بِالْحِنْطَةِ.
