Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 11103
Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) standing in Arafat, supplicating, with his hands raised in front of his chest and the backs of his palms facing the ground.

حضرت ابوسعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ مروی ہے کہ میں نے دیکھا کہ نبی ﷺ میدانِ عرفات میں کھڑے ہو کر اس طرح دعاء کر رہے تھے کہ آپ ﷺ نے اپنے ہاتھ اپنے سینے کے سامنے بلند کر رکھے تھے اور ہتھیلیوں کی پشت زمین کی جانب کر رکھی تھی۔
Hazrat Abusaid Khudri raziallahu anhu marvi hai keh maine dekha keh Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) maidan e arafaat mein khade ho kar is tarah dua kar rahe thay keh aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne apne hath apne seene ke samne buland kar rakhe thay aur hatheliyon ki pusht zameen ki jaanib kar rakhi thi.
حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ بِشْرِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، قَالَ:" رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِعَرَفَةَ يَدْعُو هَكَذَا، وَجَعَلَ بَاطِنَ كَفَّيْهِ مِمَّا يَلِي الْأَرْضَ".
