Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 11110
Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) sent a message to the tribe of Banu Lahian, saying that one man from each household should go out for Jihad. And regarding those who stay behind, he (the Prophet) said, "Whoever among you takes good care of the family and wealth of the one who goes for Jihad, will receive half the reward of the one who goes out for Jihad."

حضرت ابوسعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ مروی ہے کہ بنو لحیان کے پاس یہ پیغام بھیجا کہ ہر دور میں سے ایک آدمی کو جہاد کے لئے نکلنا چاہئے اور پیچھے رہنے والے کے متعلق فرمایا کہ تم میں سے جو شخص جہاد پر جانے والے کے پیچھے اس کے اہل خانہ اور مال و دولت کا اچھے طریقے سے خیال رکھتا ہے، اسے جہاد پر نکلنے والے کا نصف ثواب ملتا ہے۔
Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri Razi Allahu Anhu marvi hai ki Banu Lahiyaan ke paas yeh paigham bheja ki har daur mein se ek aadmi ko jihad ke liye nikalna chahiye aur peeche rehne wale ke mutalliq farmaya ki tum mein se jo shakhs jihad par jaane wale ke peeche uske ahl khana aur maal o daulat ka achhe tarike se khayal rakhta hai use jihad par nikalne wale ka nisf sawab milta hai.
حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ مَعْرُوفٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرٌو ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ مَوْلَى الْمَهْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَعَثَ إِلَى بَنِي لَحْيَانَ لِيَخْرُجْ مِنْ كُلِّ رَجُلَيْنِ رَجُلٌ، ثُمَّ قَالَ لِلْقَاعِدِ:" أَيُّكُمْ خَلَفَ الْخَارِجَ فِي أَهْلِهِ وَمَالِهِ بِخَيْرٍ، كَانَ لَهُ مِثْلُ نِصْفِ أَجْرِ الْخَارِجِ".
