Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 11142
Abu Sa'eed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Follow my example, and those who come after you will follow yours. For the people will continue to fall behind until Allah turns them back."

حضرت ابوسعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا تم میری اقتداء کیا کرو بعد والے تمہاری اقتداء کریں گے، کیونکہ لوگ پیچھے ہوتے رہیں کے یہاں تک کہ اللہ انہیں پیچھے کردے گا۔
Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri Raziallahu Anhu marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya tum meri iqtida kiya karo baad wale tumhari iqtida karenge, kyunki log peechhe hote rahenge yahan tak ki Allah unhen peechhe karde ga.
حَدَّثَنَا مَنْصُورُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْأَشْهَبِ الْعُطَارِدِيُّ ، عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ:" ائْتَمُّوا بِي يَأْتَمُّ بِكُمْ مَنْ بَعْدَكُمْ، فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَزَالُ قَوْمٌ يَتَأَخَّرُونَ حَتَّى يُؤَخِّرَهُمْ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ".
