Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 11174
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: On the Day of Judgement, the most beloved of all people to Allah and the closest to Him in rank will be the just ruler. And the most hated and deserving of severe punishment on that day will be the oppressive ruler.

حضرت ابوسعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا قیامت کے دن اللہ کے نزدیک تمام لوگوں میں سب سے پسندیدہ اور مجلس کے اعتبار سے سب سے زیادہ قریب شخص منصف حکمران ہوگا اور اس دن سب سے زیادہ مبغوض اور سخت عذاب کا مستحق ظالم حکمران ہوگا
Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri RA se marvi hai keh Nabi SAW ne farmaya qayamat ke din Allah ke nazdeek tamam logon mein sab se pasandida aur majlis ke aitbaar se sab se zyada qareeb shakhs munsif hukmaran hoga aur us din sab se zyada mabghooz aur sakht azab ka mustahiq zalim hukmaran hoga.
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ ، حَدَّثَنَا فُضَيْلٌ ، عَنْ عَطِيَّةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" إِنَّ أَحَبَّ النَّاسِ إِلَى اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَأَقْرَبَهُمْ مِنْهُ مَجْلِسًا: إِمَامٌ عَادِلٌ، وَإِنَّ أَبْغَضَ النَّاسِ إِلَى اللَّهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَأَشَدَّهُ عَذَابًا: إِمَامٌ جَائِرٌ".
