Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 11271
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Saeed (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) explained the meaning of "Ummah Wasatan" as a moderate nation.
Grade: Sahih
حضرت ابوسعید رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے " امۃ وسطاً " کی تفسیر امت معتدلہ سے فرمائی ہے۔
Hazrat Abusaid RA se marvi hai keh Nabi SAW ne "Umatan Wastan" ki tafseer Ummat Mutadillah se farmaee hai.
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" الْوَسَطُ الْعَدْلُ جَعَلْنَاكُمْ أُمَّةً وَسَطًا سورة البقرة آية 143".
