Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 11426
Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), while mentioning this world, said: “The world is green and alluring, so beware of it and women.” Then the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) mentioned three women of the Children of Israel. Two of them were so tall that they could be recognized from afar, and one was of short stature. She (to make herself appear taller) had two wooden artificial legs made. Now whenever she walked, the women to her right and left would appear short. Then she had a gold ring made and filled it with the best musk under its stone. Now whenever she passed by a gathering, she would move her ring, and its fragrance would spread there.

حضرت ابوسعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے دنیا کا ذکر کرتے ہوئے فرمایا دنیا بڑی سرسبز و شاداب اور شیریں ہے، لہٰذا اس سے اور عورتوں سے بچو، پھر نبی ﷺ نے بنی اسرائیل کی تین عورتوں کا ذکر کیا جن میں سے دو کا قد اتنا لمبا تھا کہ دور سے ہی پہچان لی جاتی تھیں اور ایک ٹھگنے قد کی تھی، اس نے (اپنا قد اونچا کرنے کے لئے) لکڑی کی دو مصنوعی ٹانگیں بنوا لیں، اب جب وہ چلتی تو اس کے دائیں بائیں کی عورتیں چھوٹی لگتیں، پھر اس نے سونے کی ایک انگوٹھی بنوائی اور اس کے نگینے کے نیچے سب سے بہترین خوشبو مشک بھر دی، اب جب بھی وہ کسی مجلس سے گذرتی تو اپنی انگوٹھی کو حرکت دیتی اور وہاں اس کی خوشبو پھیل جاتی۔
Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne duniya ka zikar karte hue farmaya duniya badi sar sabz o shadab aur shirin hai lihaza is se aur aurton se bacho phir Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Bani Israel ki teen aurton ka zikar kiya jin mein se do ka qad itna lamba tha ki door se hi pehchan li jati thin aur ek thagne qad ki thi usne apna qad uncha karne ke liye lakdi ki do masnoi tangain banwa lin ab jab wo chalti to uske dayen baen ki aurten chhoti lagti phir usne sone ki ek anguthi banwai aur uske nageene ke niche sab se behtarin khushbu mushk bhar di ab jab bhi wo kisi majlis se guzarti to apni anguthi ko harkat deti aur wahan uski khushbu phel jati.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْمُسْتَمِرُّ بْنُ الرَّيَّانِ الْإِيَادِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نَضْرَةَ الْعَبْدِيُّ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ذَكَرَ الدُّنْيَا، فَقَالَ:" إِنَّ الدُّنْيَا خَضِرَةٌ حُلْوَةٌ، فَاتَّقُوهَا وَاتَّقُوا النِّسَاءَ". ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ نِسْوَةً ثَلَاثًا مِنْ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ، امْرَأَتَيْنِ طَوِيلَتَيْنِ تُعْرَفَانِ، وَامْرَأَةً قَصِيرَةً لَا تُعْرَفُ، فَاتَّخَذَتْ رِجْلَيْنِ مِنْ خَشَبٍ، وَصَاغَتْ خَاتَمًا، فَحَشَتْهُ مِنْ أَطْيَبِ الطِّيبِ الْمِسْكِ، وَجَعَلَتْ لَهُ غَلَقًا، فَإِذَا مَرَّتْ بِالْمَلَإِ أَوْ بِالْمَجْلِسِ قَالَتْ بِهِ، فَفَتَحَتْهُ، فَفَاحَ رِيحُهُ، قَالَ الْمُسْتَمِرُّ بِخِنْصَرِهِ الْيُسْرَى: فَأَشْخَصَهَا دُونَ أَصَابِعِهِ الثَّلَاثِ شَيْئًا، وَقَبَضَ الثَّلَاثَةَ.
