Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 11570
It was narrated from Abu Sa’eed al-Khudri that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) forbade fasting continuously without a break. My (maternal) aunt observes fasts in this manner and I forbid her, but she does not desist.

حضرت ابوسعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے صوم وصال سے منع فرمایا ہے، میری یہ بہن اس طرح روزے رکھتی ہے اور میں اسے منع بھی کرتا ہوں (لیکن یہ باز نہیں آتی)
Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne saum wisal se mana farmaya hai, meri ye behan is tarah rozy rakhti hai aur main ise mana bhi karta hun (lakin ye baaz nahi aati).
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، قَالَ: حدثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ بِشْرِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، قَالَ:" نَهَى النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ الْوِصَالِ فِي الصِّيَامِ" , وَهَذِهِ أُخْتِي تُوَاصِلُ، وَأَنَا أَنْهَاهَا.
