Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 11579
On the authority of Hadrat Abu Sa'eed Radi Allahu Anhu, who said: I heard the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam say, "There will emerge from amongst you a people whose prayers will make you look down upon your own prayers, and whose fasting will make you look down upon your own fasting. They will recite the Quran, but it will not go beyond their throats. They will leave Islam just as an arrow leaves its target, and the archer looks at his arrow but finds nothing on it, then he checks the arrowhead but finds nothing there either, then he examines the shaft and finds nothing, then he looks at the feather and finds nothing on it."

حضرت ابوسعید رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ تم میں ایک قوم نکلے گی ان کی نمازوں کے آگے تم اپنی نمازوں کو ان کے روزوں کے سامنے تم اپنے روزوں کو حقیر سمجھو گے، لیکن لوگ دین سے ایسے نکل جائیں گے جیسے تیر شکار سے نکل جاتا ہے اور آدمی اپنا تیر پکڑ کر اس کے پھل کو دیکھتا ہے تو کچھ نظر نہیں آتا، پھر اس کے پٹھے کو دیکھتا ہے تو وہاں بھی کچھ نظر نہیں آتا، پھر اس کی لکڑی کو دیکھتا ہے تو وہاں بھی کچھ نظر نہیں آتا، پھر اس کے پر کو دیکھتا ہے تو وہاں بھی کچھ نظر نہیں آتا۔
Hazrat Abu Saeed Radi Allaho Anho se marvi hai ke Nabi Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ko ye farmate hue suna hai ke tum mein ek qaum niklegi in ki namaazon ke aage tum apni namaazon ko in ke roozon ke samne tum apne roozon ko haqir samjho ge lekin log deen se aise nikal jayenge jaise teer shikar se nikal jata hai aur aadmi apna teer pakar kar is ke phal ko dekhta hai to kuch nazar nahi aata phir is ke patthey ko dekhta hai to wahan bhi kuch nazar nahi aata phir is ki lakdi ko dekhta hai to wahan bhi kuch nazar nahi aata phir is ke par ko dekhta hai to wahan bhi kuch nazar nahi aata.
قَرَأْتُ عَلَى عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ : مَالِكٌ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ التَّيْمِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ:" يَخْرُجُ فِيكُمْ قَوْمٌ تَحْقِرُونَ صَلَاتَكُمْ مَعَ صَلَاتِهِمْ، وَصِيَامَكُمْ مَعَ صِيَامِهِمْ، وَأَعْمَالَكُمْ مَعَ أَعْمَالِهِمْ، يَقْرَؤُونَ الْقُرْآنَ لَا يُجَاوِزُ حَنَاجِرَهُمْ، يَمْرُقُونَ مِنَ الدِّينِ مُرُوقَ السَّهْمِ مِنَ الرَّمِيَّةِ، يَنْظُرُ فِي النَّصْلِ فَلَا يَرَى شَيْئًا، ثُمَّ يَنْظُرُ فِي الْقِدْحِ فَلَا يَرَى شَيْئًا، وَيَنْظُرُ فِي الرِّيشِ فَلَا يَرَى شَيْئًا، وَيَتَمَارَى فِي الْفُوقِ". قَالَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ: حَدَّثَنَا بِهِ مَالِكٌ، يَعْنِي هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ.
