Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 11608
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Do not speak ill of my Companions. For, if any one of you were to spend gold equivalent to the mountain of Uhud, it would not amount to even half of what any one of them has spent, or even half of that.

حضرت ابوسعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا میرے صحابہ کو برا بھلا مت کہا کرو، کیونکہ اگر تم میں سے کوئی شخص احد پہاڑ کے برابر بھی سونا خرچ کر دے تو وہ ان میں سے کسی کے مد بلکہ اس کے نصف تک کو بھی نہیں پہنچ سکتا۔
Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri raziallahu anhu se marvi hai ke Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya mere sahaba ko bura bhala mat kaha karo, kyunki agar tum mein se koi shakhs uhud pahar ke barabar bhi sona kharch kar de to woh un mein se kisi ke muqable balkay us ke nisf tak ko bhi nahi pohanch sakta.
حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ ذَكْوَانَ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:" لَا تَسُبُّوا أَصْحَابِي، فَلَوْ أَنَّ أَحَدَكُمْ أَنْفَقَ مِثْلَ أُحُدٍ ذَهَبًا، مَا بَلَغَ مُدَّ أَحَدِهِمْ، وَلَا نَصِيفَهُ".
