Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 11644
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that on the day of the Battle of the Trench, we did not get a chance to offer prayer, even after some time had passed after sunset, until our sufficiency in the matter of fighting was achieved, meaning Allah decreed that Allah would suffice the Muslims in fighting, and Allah is Most Powerful and Predominant. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) commanded Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him), and he pronounced the Iqamah for the Zuhr prayer. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) led the prayer as he usually did in normal times. Then, after pronouncing the Iqamah, he led the Asr prayer in the same manner as he usually did. Similarly, he led the Maghrib prayer at its usual time. At that time, the command for prayer in fear had not been revealed.

حضرت ابوسعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ غزوہ خندق کے دن ہم لوگوں کو نماز پڑھنے کا موقع ہی نہیں ملا، یہاں تک کہ مغرب کے بعد بھی کچھ وقت بیت گیا، جب قتال کے معاملے میں ہماری کفایت ہوگئی " یعنی اللہ نے یہ فرما دیا کہ اللہ مسلمانوں کی قتال میں کفایت کرے گا۔ اور اللہ طاقتور اور غالب ہے " تو نبی ﷺ نے حضرت بلال رضی اللہ عنہ کو حکم دیا، انہوں نے ظہر کے لئے اقامت کہی، نبی ﷺ نے نماز پڑھائی جیسے عام وقت میں نماز پڑھاتے تھے، پھر اقامت کہلوا کر نماز عصر بھی اسی طرح پڑھائی جیسے اپنے وقت میں پڑھاتے تھے، اسی طرح مغرب بھی اس کے اپنے وقت کی طرح پڑھائی۔ اس وقت تک نماز خوف کا حکم نازل نہیں ہوا تھا۔
Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri Razi Allahu Anhu se marvi hai ki Ghazwa Khandaq ke din hum logon ko namaz padhne ka mauqa hi nahi mila, yahan tak ki Maghrib ke bad bhi kuch waqt beet gaya, jab qatal ke mamle mein hamari kifayat hogayi " yani Allah ne ye farma diya ki Allah Musalmanon ki qatal mein kifayat karega. Aur Allah taqatwar aur ghalib hai " to Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Hazrat Bilal Razi Allahu Anhu ko hukum diya, unhon ne Zuhr ke liye iqamat kahi, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne namaz padhayi jaise aam waqt mein namaz padhate the, phir iqamat kahlwa kar namaz Asr bhi isi tarah padhayi jaise apne waqt mein padhate the, isi tarah Maghrib bhi is ke apne waqt ki tarah padhayi. Is waqt tak namaz khauf ka hukum nazil nahi hua tha.
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ ، وَحَجَّاجٌ , قَالَا: أخبرَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ ، عَنِ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ: حُبِسْنَا يَوْمَ الْخَنْدَقِ، حَتَّى ذَهَبَ هَوِيٌّ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ، حَتَّى كُفِينَا، وَذَلِكَ قَوْلُ اللَّهِ: وَكَفَى اللَّهُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ الْقِتَالَ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ قَوِيًّا عَزِيزًا سورة الأحزاب آية 25 , قَالَ:" فَدَعَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِلَالًا، فَأَمَرَهُ فَأَقَامَ، فَصَلَّى الظُّهْرَ، وَأَحْسَنَ كَمَا كَانَ يُصَلِّيهَا فِي وَقْتِهَا، ثُمَّ أَقَامَ لِلْعَصْرِ، فَصَلَّاهَا كَذَلِكَ، ثُمَّ أَقَامَ الْمَغْرِبَ، فَصَلَّاهَا كَذَلِكَ، ثُمَّ أَقَامَ الْعِشَاءَ، فَصَلَّاهَا كَذَلِكَ، وَذَلِكَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَنْزِلَ فِي صَلَاةِ الْخَوْفِ". قَالَ حَجَّاجٌ: فِي صَلَاةِ الْخَوْفِ: فَإِنْ خِفْتُمْ فَرِجَالا أَوْ رُكْبَانًا سورة البقرة آية 239..
