Musnad of the Companions Who Narrated Abundantly

The Musnad of Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him)
مسنَد اَبِی سَعِید الخدرِیِّ رَضِیَ اللَّه تَعَالَى عَنه
Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 11720
And it is narrated in the previous Hadith that I said, "O Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, who will be the best of people near Allah on the Day of Judgment?" The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Those who remember Allah the most." Then I asked, "O Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, will their status be higher than that of the Mujahid (warrior in the path of Allah), may Allah be pleased with him?" The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Even if he were to fight among the disbelievers and polytheists until his sword broke and he was covered in blood, the status of those who remember Allah would still be higher."

اور گزشتہ سند ہی سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے عرض کیا یا رسول اللہ ﷺ ! قیامت کے دن اللہ کے نزدیک سب بندوں میں سے افضل ترین آدمی کون ہوگا؟ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا کثرت سے اللہ کا ذکر کرنے والے لوگ، پھر میں نے پوچھا یا رسول اللہ ﷺ ! کیا ان کا درجہ مجاہد رضی اللہ عنہ سے بھی بڑھ کر ہوگا؟ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا اگر وہ کفار اور مشرکین میں اتنی تلوار چلائے کہ اس کی تلوار ٹوٹ جائے اور وہ خون میں لت پت ہوجائے تب بھی ذکر کرنے والوں کا درجہ ان سے افضل ہی ہوگا۔
Aur guzishta sanad hi se marvi hai ke maine arz kiya Ya Rasulullah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)! Qayamat ke din Allah ke nazdeek sab bandon mein se afzal tarin aadmi kaun hoga? Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya kasrat se Allah ka zikr karne wale log, phir maine poocha Ya Rasulullah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)! Kya unka darja mujahid (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se bhi barh kar hoga? Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya agar woh kuffar aur mushrikeen mein itni talwar chalaye ke uski talwar toot jaye aur woh khoon mein lat pat ho jaye tab bhi zikr karne walon ka darja unse afzal hi hoga.
(حديث موقوف) وَبِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ، وَبِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ: قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، أَيُّ الْعِبَادِ أَفْضَلُ دَرَجَةً عِنْدَ اللَّهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ؟ قَالَ:" الذَّاكِرُونَ اللَّهَ كَثِيرًا"، قَالَ: قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، وَمَنْ الْغَازِي فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ؟ قَالَ:" لَوْ ضَرَبَ بِسَيْفِهِ فِي الْكُفَّارِ وَالْمُشْرِكِينَ حَتَّى يَنْكَسِرَ، وَيَخْتَضِبَ دَمًا، لَكَانَ الذَّاكِرُونَ اللَّهَ أَفْضَلَ مِنْهُ دَرَجَةً".
