Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 12350
It is narrated on the authority of Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Striving in the cause of Allah for one morning or evening is better than the world and all that is in it."

حضرت انس رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا اللہ کے راستے میں ایک صبح یا شام جہاد کرنا، دنیا و مافیھا سے بہتر ہے۔
Hazrat Anas (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya Allah ke raste mein ek subah ya sham jihad karna, duniya wa ma fiha se behtar hai.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" لَغَدْوَةٌ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ، أَوْ رَوْحَةٌ، خَيْرٌ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا".
