Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 12624
It is narrated on the authority of Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would observe a fast, people would inform each other that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had intended to fast. And when he would break his fast, they would also inform each other that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had broken his fast.

حضرت انس رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ جب روزہ رکھتے تو لوگ ایک دوسرے کو مطلع کردیتے کہ نبی ﷺ نے روزہ کی نیت کرلی ہے اور جب افطاری کرتے تب بھی لوگ ایک دوسرے کو مطلع کرتے تھے کہ نبی ﷺ نے روزہ کھول لیا ہے۔
Hazrat Anas (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) jab roza rakhte to log ek dusre ko mutla karte the ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne roza ki niyat kar li hai aur jab iftari karte tab bhi log ek dusre ko mutla karte the ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne roza khol liya hai.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كَامِلٍ وَاسْمُهُ مُظَفَّرُ بْنُ مُدْرِكٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَصُومُ حَتَّى يُقَالَ: صَامَ صَامَ، وَيُفْطِرُ حَتَّى يُقَالَ: أَفْطَرَ أَفْطَرَ".
