Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 12915
It is narrated on the authority of Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) entered the mosque and saw a rope hanging between two pillars. He asked, "What is this rope?" The people said, "This is the rope of Zainab. When she feels sluggish or tired during prayer, she ties herself with it." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Remove it." Then he said, "When anyone among you prays, he should pray as long as he feels active, and when he feels sluggish or tired, he should stop."

حضرت انس رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ ایک مرتبہ مسجد میں داخل ہوئے تو دیکھا کہ دو ستونوں کے درمیان ایک رسی لٹک رہی ہے، پوچھا یہ کیسی رسی ہے؟ لوگوں نے بتایا کہ یہ زینب کی رسی ہے، نماز پڑھتے ہوئے جب انہیں سستی یا تھکاوٹ محسوس ہوتی ہے تو وہ اس کے ساتھ اپنے آپ کو باند ھ لیتی ہیں، نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا اسے کھول دو، پھر فرمایا جب تم میں سے کوئی شخص نماز پڑھے تو نشاط کی کیفیت برقرار رہنے تک پڑھے اور جب سستی یا تھکاوٹ محسوس ہو تو رک جائے۔
Hazrat Anas (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ek martaba masjid mein daakhil hue to dekha ki do sutunon ke darmiyan ek rassi latak rahi hai, poocha ye कैसी rassi hai? Logon ne bataya ki ye Zainab ki rassi hai, namaz padhte hue jab unhen susti ya thakan mehsoos hoti hai to wo iske sath apne aap ko bandh leti hain, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya ise khol do, phir farmaya jab tum mein se koi shakhs namaz padhe to nishaat ki kefiyat barqaraar rahne tak padhe aur jab susti ya thakan mehsoos ho to ruk jaye.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى ، قَالَ: رَأَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَبْلًا مَمْدُودًا بَيْنَ سَارِيَتَيْنِ، فَقَالَ:" لِمَنْ هَذَا؟" قَالُوا لِحَمْنَةَ بِنْتِ جَحْشٍ: تُصَلَّي، فَإِذَا عَجَزَتْ تَعَلَّقَتْ بِهِ، فَقَالَ:" لِتُصَلِّ مَا طَاقَتْ، فَإِذَا عَجَزَتْ فَلْتَقْعُدْ".
