Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 13432

Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) gave me a nickname after the name of the vegetable that I used to pick.

حضرت انس رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے میری کنیت اس سبزی کے نام پر رکھی تھی جو میں چنتا تھا۔

Hazrat Anas (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne meri kunniyat iss sabzi ke naam par rakhi thi jo mein chunta tha.

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَاقِدٍ ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي نَصْرٍ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، قَالَ:" كَنَّانِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِبَقْلَةٍ كُنْتُ أَجْتَنِيهَا".
