Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 14166
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade using the price of a cat.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے بلی کی قیمت استعمال کرنے سے منع فرمایا ہے۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne billi ki qeemat istemaal karne se mana farmaya hai.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، وَيَحْيَى بْنُ مَعِينٍ ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ الصَّنْعَانِيُّ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا الزُّبَيْرِ الْمَكِّيَّ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ" نَهَى عَنْ ثَمَنِ الْهِرِّ".
