Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 14313
It is narrated on the authority of our master Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that on the occasion of the Battle of Hudaybiyyah, we were fourteen hundred strong. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to us, "Today, you are the best of the people on the face of the earth."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ غزوہ حدیبیہ کے موقع پر ہماری تعداد چودہ سو نفسوں پر مشتمل تھی نبی ﷺ نے ہم سے فرمایا کہ آج تم لوگ روئے زمین کے تمام لوگوں سے بہتر ہو۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Ghazwa Hudaibiya ke mauqe par hamari tadad chaudah sau nafsun par mushtamil thi Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne hum se farmaya ki aaj tum log rue zameen ke tamam logon se behtar ho.
حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو ، سَمِعْتُ جَابِرًا ، قَالَ: كُنَّا يَوْمَ الْحُدَيْبِيَةِ أَلْفًا وَأَرْبَعَ مِئَةٍ، فَقَالَ لَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" أَنْتُمْ الْيَوْمَ خَيْرُ أَهْلِ الْأَرْضِ".
