Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 14344
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) prayed wrapped in a garment. Someone asked Abu Zubair if this meant the obligatory prayer? He said: "It includes both obligatory and non-obligatory prayers."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ایک کپڑے میں لپٹ کر نماز پڑھی، کسی نے ابوزبیر سے پوچھا کہ اس سے مراد فرض نماز ہے؟ انہوں نے فرمایا: یہ فرض اور غیر فرض سب کو شامل ہے۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne ek kapre mein lapat kar namaz parha, kisi ne Abu Zubeir se puchha ki is se murad farz namaz hai? Unhon ne farmaya: Yah farz aur ghair farz sab ko shamil hai.
حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا أبو الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَّى فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ مُتَوَشِّحًا بِهِ، فَقَالَ بَعْضُ الْقَوْمِ لِأَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ الْمَكْتُوبَةَ؟ قَالَ: الْمَكْتُوبَةَ وَغَيْرَ الْمَكْتُوبَةِ.
