Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 14358
It is narrated on the authority of Hadhrat Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) prohibited the sale of Muhaqalah, Muzabinah, sharecropping, the sale of fruits for several years on contract, and the sale of fruits with the exception of specific trees. However, he allowed a person to lend his garden to a poor person.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے بیع محاقلہ، مزابنہ، بٹائی، کئی سالوں کے ٹھیکے پر پھلوں کی فروخت اور مخصوص درختوں کے استثناء سے منع فرمایا ہے البتہ اس بات کی اجازت دی ہے کہ کوئی شخص اپنے باغ کو عاریۃ کسی غریب کے حوالے کر دے۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne bay muhaqala, muzabana, batai, kayi saloon ke theke par phalon ki farokht aur makhsoos darakhton ke istisna se mana farmaya hai albatta is baat ki ijazat di hai ki koi shakhs apne bagh ko ariyatan kisi ghareeb ke hawale kar de.
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ" نَهَى عَنِ الْمُحَاقَلَةِ، وَالْمُزَابَنَةِ، وَالْمُخَابَرَةِ، وَالْمُعَاوَمَةِ، وَالثُّنْيَا، وَرَخَّصَ فِي الْعَرَايَا".
