Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 14446
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that we used to sell our slave-girls who were the mothers of our children, and the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was alive at that time, and he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) did not see any harm in it.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ہم لوگ اپنی ان باندیوں کو جو ہمارے بچوں کی مائیں ہو تی تھیں، فروخت کر دیا کرتے تھے اور نبی ﷺ اس وقت حیات تھے آپ ﷺ اس میں کوئی حرج نہیں سمجھتے تھے۔

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ ، أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَهُ يَقُولُ:" كُنَّا نَبِيعُ سَرَارِيَّنَا وَأُمَّهَاتِ أَوْلَادِنَا، وَالنَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِينَا حَيٌّ، لَا نَرَى بِذَلِكَ بَأْسًا".
