Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 14493
Narrated by Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that one month before the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) passed away, a person asked him about the Day of Judgment. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) replied, "You ask me about the Hour (Day of Judgment), its knowledge is with Allah only. By Him in Whose Hand is my soul, I do not know even about the person who is breathing today, whether he will live a hundred years."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ کے وصال کے ایک ماہ قبل کسی شخص نے قیامت کے متعلق پوچھا، تو نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: تم مجھ سے قیامت کے متعلق پوچھ رہے ہو، اس کا حقیقی علم اللہ کے پاس ہے، اس ذات کی قسم جس کے دست قدرت میں میری جان ہے میں تو آج یہ بھی نہیں جانتا جو شخص آج سانس لے رہا ہے، اس پر سو سال بھی گز رسکیں گے۔
Saina Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke wisal ke ek mah pahle kisi shakhs ne qayamat ke mutalliq poocha, tou Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: tum mujh se qayamat ke mutalliq pooch rahe ho, is ka haqeeqi ilm Allah ke pass hai, is zaat ki qasam jis ke dast qudrat mein meri jaan hai main tou aaj ye bhi nahi janta jo shakhs aaj saans le raha hai, is par sou sal bhi guzar sakenge.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النَّضْرِ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْمُبَارَكُ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سُئِلَ عَنِ السَّاعَةِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَمُوتَ بِشَهْرٍ، فَقَالَ:" تَسْأَلُونِي عَنِ السَّاعَةِ، وَإِنَّمَا عِلْمُهَا عِنْدَ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ؟! فَوَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ، مَا أَعْلَمُ الْيَوْمَ نَفْسًا مَنْفُوسَةً يَأْتِي عَلَيْهَا مِائَةُ سَنَةٍ".
