Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 14550
Narrated by Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him), once we were with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) at the house of an Ansar woman for a meal. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "A man from Paradise will come to you now." After a while, Sayyiduna Siddiq Akbar (may Allah be pleased with him) arrived, and we congratulated him. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Another man from Paradise will come to you now." After a short while, Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) arrived, and we congratulated him as well. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) then said, "Another man from Paradise will come to you now." This time, I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) peeking from under the trees and plants, saying, "O Allah, if You willed, the one coming would be Ali." And indeed, Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) arrived, and we congratulated him too.
سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ ہم لوگ نبی ﷺ کے ساتھ ایک انصاری خاتون کے یہاں کھانے کی دعوت میں شریک تھے نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: ابھی تمہارے پاس ایک جنتی آدمی آئے گا تھوڑی دیر بعد سیدنا صدیق اکبر تشریف لائے ہم نے انہیں مبارک باد دی نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: ابھی تمہارے پاس ایک اور جنتی آدمی آئے گا تھوڑ دیر بعد سیدنا عمر تشریف لائے ہم نے انہیں بھی مبارک باد دی نبی ﷺ نے پھر فرمایا کہ ابھی تمہارے پاس ایک اور جنتی آدمی آئے گا اس وقت میں نے دیکھا کہ کہ نبی ﷺ درختوں کے پودوں کے نیچے سے سر نکال کر دیکھنے لگے کہ اور فرمانے لگے کہ اے اللہ اگر تو چاہتا تو آنے والا علی ہوتا چنانچہ سیدنا علی ہی آئے اور ہم نے انہیں بھی مبارک باد دی۔

Iss waqt mein ne dekha ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) darakhton ke paudon ke neeche se sar nikaal kar dekhne lage ki aur farmane lage ki aye Allah agar tu chahta to aane wala Ali hota. Chunancha Sayyidna Ali hi aaye aur humne unhen bhi mubarakbaad di.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَقِيلٍ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، قَالَ: كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عِنْدَ امْرَأَةٍ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ صَنَعَتْ لَهُ طَعَامًا، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" يَدْخُلُ عَلَيْكُمْ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ"، فَدَخَلَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ فَهَنَّيْنَاهْ، ثُمَّ قَالَ:" يَدْخُلُ عَلَيْكُمْ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ" فَدَخَلَ عُمَرُ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، فَهَنَّيْنَاهْ، ثُمَّ قَالَ:" يَدْخُلُ عَلَيْكُمْ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ" فَرَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُدْخِلُ رَأْسَهُ تَحْتَ الْوَدِيِّ، فَيَقُولُ:" اللَّهُمَّ، إِنْ شِئْتَ جَعَلْتَهُ عَلِيًّا" فَدَخَلَ عَلِيٌّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، فَهَنَّيْنَاهْ.
