Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 14719
It was narrated from Jabir bin 'Abdullah that he heard the Prophet (ﷺ) saying: "I will be waiting for you ahead of you (at the Hawd). If you miss me there, then (you will find me) at the Hawd. It is a distance between Aylah (a town in Jordan) and Makkah (Mecca) and it is a Cistern whose length equals the distance between Aylah and Makkah. Soon, people will be driven to it in crowds like those of thirsty camels. They will come with their pitchers and utensils, but they will not be able to drink from it."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ انہوں نے نبی ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ میں تمہارے آگے تمہارا انتظار کر وں گا اگر تم مجھے دیکھ نہ سکو تو میں حوض کوثر پر ہوں گا جو کہ ایلہ سے مکہ مکر مہ تک کی درمیانی مسافت کا حوض ہو گا اور عنقریب کئی مرد و عورت مشکیزے اور برتن لے کر آئیں گے لیکن اس میں سے کچھ بھی نہ پی سکیں گے۔
Seyedna Jabir Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ke unhon ne Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko ye farmate huye suna hai ke mein tumhare aage tumhara intezar karun ga agar tum mujhe dekh na sako to mein howz e kosar par hun ga jo ke ailah se makkah mukarrama tak ki darmiyani musafat ka howz ho ga aur anqareeb kai mard o aurat mashkize aur bartan lekar ayenge lekin is mein se kuchh bhi na pee sakenge.
حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ:" أَنَا فَرَطُكُمْ بَيْنَ أَيْدِيكُمْ، فَإِذَا لَمْ تَرَوْنِي، فَأَنَا عَلَى الْحَوْضِ قَدْرَ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْلَةَ إِلَى مَكَّةَ، وَسَيَأْتِي رِجَالٌ وَنِسَاءٌ بِقِرَبٍ وَآنِيَةٍ، فَلَا يَطْعَمُونَ مِنْهُ شَيْئًا".
