Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 14724
Narrated by Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that he heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying, "I hope that my followers from my Ummah will constitute one-fourth of the people of Paradise on the Day of Judgment." Upon hearing this, we exclaimed, "Allahu Akbar!" He (the Prophet) then said, "I hope that they will be one-third of all the people." We again exclaimed, "Allahu Akbar!" He then said, "I hope that they will be one-half of all the people."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ انہوں نے نبی کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ مجھے امید ہے کہ قیامت کے دن میری پیروی کرنے والے میری امتی تمام اہل جنت کا ایک ربع ہوں گے اس پر ہم نے نعرہ تکبیر بلند کیا پھر فرمایا: مجھے امید ہے کہ وہ تمام لوگوں کا ایک ثلث ہوں گے اس پر ہم نے دوبارہ نعرہ تکبیر بلند کیا پھر فرمایا کہ مجھے امید ہے کہ وہ تمام لوگوں کا ایک نصف ہوں گے۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki unhon ne Nabi ko ye farmate huye suna hai ki mujhe umeed hai ki qayamat ke din meri pairvi karne wale meri ummati tamam ahl jannat ka ek rub honge is par hum ne nara takbeer buland kiya phir farmaya mujhe umeed hai ki wo tamam logon ka ek suls honge is par hum ne dobara nara takbeer buland kiya phir farmaya ki mujhe umeed hai ki wo tamam logon ka ek nisf honge
حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ:" أَرْجُو أَنْ يَكُونَ مَنْ يَتَّبِعُنِي مِنْ أُمَّتِي يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ رُبُعَ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ"، قَالَ: فَكَبَّرْنَا، ثُمَّ قَالَ:" أَرْجُو أَنْ يَكُونُوا ثُلُثَ النَّاسِ"، قَالَ: فَكَبَّرْنَا، ثُمَّ قَالَ:" أَرْجُو أَنْ يَكُونُوا الشَّطْرَ".
