Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 14835
Narrated by Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him), the first news we received about the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was that a woman, who had a jinn companion, told us. The jinn once came to her in the form of a bird and sat on the branch of a tree. The woman said to it, "Why don't you come down so we can tell you our news and you can tell us yours?" The jinn replied, "A man has appeared in Makkah al-Mukarramah who has forbidden us from fornication and has forbidden us from staying in this way."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ کے حوالے سے ہمیں سب سے پہلی جو خبر ملی تھی وہ یہ تھی کہ ایک عورت کا کوئی جن تابع تھا وہ ایک مرتبہ اس کے پاس پرندے کی شکل میں آیا اور ایک درخت کی شاخ پر بیٹھ گیا اس عورت نے اسے کہا کہ تم نیچے کیوں نہیں آتے کہ تم ہمیں اپنی خبر دو ہم تمہیں اپنی خبر دیں اس نے جواب دیا کہ مکہ مکر مہ میں ایک آدمی ظاہر ہوا جس نے ہم پر بدکاری کو حرام قرار دیا ہے اور ہمیں اس طرح ٹھہرنے سے منع کر دیا ہے۔
Saina Jabir Razi Allaho Anho se marvi hai ke Nabi Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ke hawale se hamen sab se pehli jo khabar mili thi wo ye thi ke ek aurat ka koi jinn tabay tha wo ek martaba uske pass parinde ki shakal mein aaya aur ek darakht ki shakh par baith gaya us aurat ne use kaha ke tum neeche kyun nahin aate ke tum hamen apni khabar do hum tumhen apni khabar den isne jawab diya ke Makkah Mukarramah mein ek aadmi zahir hua jisne hum par badkari ko haram karar diya hai aur hamen is tarah thaharne se mana kar diya hai.
حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ أَبِي الْعَبَّاسِ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْمَلِيحِ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَقِيلٍ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ:" إِنَّ أَوَّلَ خَبَرٍ قَدِمَ عَلَيْنَا عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّ امْرَأَةً كَانَ لَهَا تَابِعٌ، قَالَ: فَأَتَاهَا فِي صُورَةِ طَيْرٍ، فَوَقَعَ عَلَى جِذْعٍ لَهُمْ، قَالَ: فَقَالَتْ: أَلَا تَنْزِلُ فَنُخْبِرَكَ وَتُخْبِرَنَا؟، قَالَ: إِنَّهُ قَدْ خَرَجَ رَجُلٌ بِمَكَّةَ، حَرَّمَ عَلَيْنَا الزِّنَا، وَمَنَعَ مِنَ الْفِرَارِ".
