Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 14883
Narrated by Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said regarding the Jews, that I was asking them about the soil of Paradise which would be pure white. So, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked them. They said, "O Abu'l-Qasim! It will be like bread." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Pure white bread."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ نے یہو دیوں کے حوالے سے فرمایا کہ میں ان سے جنت کی مٹی کے بارے میں پوچھنے لگا ہوں جو کہ خالص سفید ہو گی چنانچہ نبی ﷺ نے ان سے پوچھا: تو وہ کہنے لگے کہ اے بوقاسم وہ روٹی جیسی ہو گی نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: خالص روٹی جیسی ہو گی۔
Syedna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ke ek martaba Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Yahoodion ke hawale se farmaya ke mein un se Jannat ki mitti ke bare mein puchne laga hun jo ke khalis safed ho gi chunancha Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne un se pucha: to woh kehne lage ke aye Buqasim woh roti jaisi ho gi Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: khalis roti jaisi ho gi.
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيٌّ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ مُجَالِدٍ ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِلْيَهُودِ:" إِنِّي سَائِلُهُمْ عَنْ تُرْبَةِ الْجَنَّةِ، وَهِيَ دَرْمَكَةٌ بَيْضَاءُ"، فَسَأَلَهُمْ، فَقَالُوا: هِيَ خُبْزَةٌ يَا أَبَا الْقَاسِمِ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" الْخُبْزَةُ مِنَ الدَّرْمَكِ".
