Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 14900
Narrated Jabir bin 'Abdullah: The Prophet arrived in Mecca on the 4th of Dhul-Hijjah, and when we had finished our Tawaf around the Ka'ba and Sa'i between Safa and Marwah, the Prophet said, "Take off the Ihram and make it a Hajj-Tamattu', except for those of you who have the Hadi (sacrificial animal) with them." So, we took off our Ihram and finished our Hajj-Tamattu', but those who had the Hadi with them, did not take off their Ihram. When it was the 8th of Dhul-Hijjah, the people put on the Ihram of Hajj. On the 10th of Dhul-Hijjah, they performed only the Tawaf Ar-Rukn (around the Ka'ba) but not the Sa'i between Safa and Marwah.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ چار ذی الحجہ کو مکہ مکر مہ پہنچے جب ہم بیت اللہ کا طواف اور سعی کر چکے تو نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: اسے عمرہ کا احرام قرار دے کر حلال ہو جائیں البتہ جن کے پاس ہدی کا جانور ہو وہ ایسا نہ کر یں جب آٹھ ذی الحجہ ہوئی تو لوگوں نے حج کا احرام باندھ لیا اور دس ذی الحجہ کو صرف طواف زیارت کیا صفامروہ کے درمیان سعی نہیں کی۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) chaar Zul Hijjah ko Makkah Mukarramah pahunche jab hum Baitullah ka tawaf aur sai kar chuke to Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya ise Umrah ka ahram karar dekar halal ho jayen albatta jin ke pas hadi ka janwar ho wo aisa na karen jab aath Zul Hijjah hui to logon ne Hajj ka ahram bandh liya aur dus Zul Hijjah ko sirf tawaf ziyarat kiya Safa Marwah ke darmiyan sai nahin ki.
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ ، أَخْبَرَنَا قَيْسُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ: قَدِمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِأَرْبَعٍ خَلَوْنَ مِنْ ذِي الْحِجَّةِ، فَلَمَّا طُفْنَا بِالْبَيْتِ وَبَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ، قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" اجْعَلُوهَا عُمْرَةً، إِلَّا مَنْ كَانَ مَعَهُ الْهَدْيُ"، فَلَمَّا كَانَ يَوْمُ التَّرْوِيَةِ أَهَلُّوا بِالْحَجِّ، فَلَمَّا كَانَ يَوْمُ النَّحْرِ طَافُوا وَلَمْ يَطُوفُوا بَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ.
