Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 14921
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) prohibited the sale of Muhaqalah, sharecropping, the sale of fruits on lease for several years, and excluding specific trees from the sale. However, he permitted a person to lend his garden to a poor person.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے بیع محاقلہ، بٹائی، کئی سالوں کے ٹھیکے پر پھلوں کی فروخت اور مخصوص درختوں کے استثناء سے منع فرمایا ہے البتہ اس بات کی اجازت دی ہے کہ کوئی شخص اپنے باغ کو عاریۃ کسی غریب کے حوالے کر دے۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne bay muhaqala, batai, kayi saloon ke theke par phalon ki farokht aur makhsoos darakhton ke istsna se mana farmaya hai albatta is baat ki ijazat di hai ki koi shaksh apne bagh ko ariyatan kisi ghareeb ke hawale kar de.
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَيُّوبُ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ ، وَسَعِيدِ بْنِ مِينَاءٍ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ : أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ" نَهَى عَنِ الْمُحَاقَلَةِ، وَالْمُزَابَنَةِ، وَالْمُعَاوَمَةِ، وَقَالَ أَحَدُهُمَا: وَبَيْعِ السِّنِينَ، وَعَنْ بَيْعِ الثُّنْيَا، وَرَخَّصَ فِي الْعَرَايَا".
