Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 14920
Qatadah said: Sulaiman bin Hisham told me that Imam Zuhri orders us to perform ablution after eating anything. I said to him that I asked Sa'eed bin Musayyib about this matter, and he said that you do not have to perform ablution after eating anything lawful, and that anything that comes out of your body is filth, and you should perform ablution for it. Then he (Sulaiman) asked: Is there anyone else's opinion in the city similar to this? I said: An elder from Arabia. He asked: Who is he? I said: 'Ata' bin Abi Rabah. So he sent a message to 'Ata'. He ('Ata') said: Jabir (ibn Abdullah) narrated to me this hadith, that he (Jabir) ate meat and bread with Abu Bakr As-Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him), then he (Abu Bakr) led the prayer without performing a new ablution. It was narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “It is permissible for a person to give something for life."

قتادہ کہتے ہیں کہ مجھ سے سلیمان بن ہشام نے کہا ہم جو بھی چیز کھاتے ہیں امام زہری ہمیں حکم دیتے ہیں کہ نیا وضو کر یں میں نے ان سے کہا کہ میں نے سعید بن مسیب سے یہ مسئلہ پوچھا کہ انہوں نے فرمایا کہ تم جو حلال چیز کھاؤ اسے کھانے کے بعد تم پر وضو نہیں ہے اور جب تمہارے جسم سے کوئی چیز نکلے تو وہ گندگی ہے اور اس میں تم وضو کر و انہوں نے پوچھا کہ شہر میں کسی اور کی بھی رائے ہے یہ والی۔ میں نے کہا جزیرہ عرب میں سے قدیم عالم کی۔ انہوں نے پوچھا کہ وہ کون ہیں میں نے بتایا عطابن ابی رباح چنانچہ انہوں نے عطاء کے پاس پیغام بھجوایا انہوں نے فرمایا کہ مجھے جابر رضی اللہ عنہ نے یہ حدیث سنائی ہے کہ انہوں نے سیدنا صدیق اکبر کے ساتھ گوشت اور روٹی کھائی پھر انہوں نے یوں ہی نماز پڑھا دی اور تازہ وضو نہیں کیا۔ سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: عمر بھر کے لئے کسی کو کوئی چیز دینا جائز ہے۔
Qatada kehte hain ki mujh se Sulaiman bin Hisham ne kaha hum jo bhi cheez khate hain Imam Zuhri hamen hukm dete hain ki naya wuzu karein main ne un se kaha ki main ne Saeed bin Musayyab se yeh masla poocha ke unhon ne farmaya ki tum jo halal cheez khao usay khane ke baad tum par wuzu nahin hai aur jab tumhare jism se koi cheez nikle to woh gandagi hai aur is mein tum wuzu kar wo unhon ne poocha ki shehar mein kisi aur ki bhi raaye hai yeh wali main ne kaha Jazeera Arab mein se qadeem aalim ki unhon ne poocha ki woh kaun hain main ne bataya Ata bin Abi Rabah chunancha unhon ne Ata ke pass paigham bhejwaya unhon ne farmaya ki mujhe Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne yeh hadees sunayi hai ki unhon ne Sayyiduna Siddiq Akbar ke sath gosht aur roti khai phir unhon ne yun hi namaz parha di aur taza wuzu nahin kiya Sayyiduna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya umar bhar ke liye kisi ko koi cheez dena jaiz hai
