The Musnad of Jabir ibn Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him)
مُسْنَدُ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى عَنْهُ
Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 15114
Narrated Jabir bin `Abdullah: I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) saying, "I hope that my followers (Ummah) will be one-fourth of the people of Paradise on the Day of Resurrection." We glorified and praised Allah saying, "Allahu Akbar." He then said, "I hope that you will be one-third of the people of Paradise." We again glorified and praised Allah. He then said, "I hope that you will be one-half of the people of Paradise.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے نبی ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ مجھے امید ہے کہ قیامت کے دن میری پیروی کرنے والے میری امتی تمام اہل جنت کا ایک ربع ہوں گے اس پر ہم نے نعرہ تکبیر بلند کیا پھر فرمایا: مجھے امید ہے کہ وہ تمام لوگوں کا ایک ثلث ہوں گے اس پر ہم نے دوبارہ نعرہ تکبیر بلند کیا پھر فرمایا کہ مجھے امید ہے کہ وہ تمام لوگوں کا ایک نصف ہو گا۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki maine Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko ye farmate huye suna hai ki mujhe umeed hai ki qayamat ke din meri pairvi karne wale meri ummati tamam ahl jannat ka ek rub honge is par humne nara takbeer buland kiya phir farmaya: mujhe umeed hai ki wo tamam logon ka ek suls honge is par humne dobara nara takbeer buland kiya phir farmaya ki mujhe umeed hai ki wo tamam logon ka ek nisf ho ga.
حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ , حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ , أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْر ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ , يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ:" أَرْجُو أَنْ يَكُونَ مَنْ يَتَّبِعُنِي مِنْ أُمَّتِي يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ رُبْعَ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ"، قَالَ: فَكَبَّرْنَا , قَالَ:" أَرْجُو أَنْ يَكُونُوا ثُلُثَ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ"، قَالَ: فَكَبَّرْنَا، قَالَ:" أَرْجُو أَنْ يَكُونُوا الشَّطْرَ".
