Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 15171
Narrated by Sayyidina Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that whenever the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) stood on the hills of Safa and Marwah, he would say Allahu Akbar three times and then recite these words: There is no deity worthy of worship except Allah, He is One, He has no partners, His is the dominion and to Him is all praise, and He has power over all things. In another narration, it is also mentioned that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would supplicate after doing this three times and would repeat the same on Marwah.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ جب بھی صفامروہ پہاڑی پر کھڑے ہوتے تو تین مرتبہ اللہ اکبر کہتے اور پھر یہ کلمات پڑھتے کہ اللہ کے علاوہ کوئی معبود نہیں ہے وہ اکیلا ہے اس کا کوئی شریک نہیں ہے حکومت اسی کی ہے اور تمام تعریفیں بھی اسی کی ہیں وہ ہر چیز پر قادر ہے ایک دوسری سند میں یہ بھی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ تین مرتبہ اس طرح کرنے کے بعد دعا فرماتے اور مروہ پر بھی یہی دہراتے تھے۔

قَرَأْتُ عَلَى عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ : مَالِكٌ . ح , وَحَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ , أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ , عَنْ جَعْفَرٍ , عَنْ أَبِيهِ , عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ , أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ إِذَا وَقَفَ عَلَى الصَّفَا يُكَبِّرُ ثَلَاثًا، وَيَقُولُ:" لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ , لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ , وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ"، وَفِي حَدِيثِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ يَصْنَعُ ذَلِكَ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ , وَيَدْعُو , وَيَصْنَعُ عَلَى الْمَرْوَةِ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ.
